Mr. Anup Kumar chairs the Corporate Litigation Practice here at Qualegal and is an Advocate-on-Record in Supreme Court of India having 20 years of PQE in Litigation, Company Law Matters and Arbitration.

He has a very rich profile in Litigation practice and has been representing various renowned Companies like Adhunik Industries, KSBL, Renaissance Steel India Pvt. Ltd, Shri Ram Residency Private Limited, Shakambhari Group of companies etc in various courts and forums. He has been actively involved in corporate insolvency resolution process (CIRP) under the new Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 (IBC) and matters relating to Power Sector Laws and various debt restructuring and security enforcement assignments.

He is presently Senior Standing Counsel for Jharkhand Urja Vikas Limited, and has represented the Union of India and many semi government bodies and colleges.

Mr. Anup Kumar has been putting appearances in Supreme Court of India, Delhi High Court, P&H High Court, Jharkhand High Court, Uttarakhand High Court, Orissa High Court, CERC & APTEL, Enforcement Directorate, National & Appellate Company Law Tribunal, Debt Recovery & Debt Recovery Appellate Tribunal, Income Tax Appellate Tribunal and District Courts etc.

In course of his Litigation Practice, Mr. Kumar had the opportunity to work with various luminaries in field of law like Late Mr. Ramjethmalani, Mr.Soli Sorabji, Late Mr T.Andhyarujina, Mr. K.K.Venugopal, Mr. Mukul Rohatagi, Mr Gopal Subramanium, Mr Kapil Sibal, Sr.Advocate (former ASG) Mr K.V.
